The Venue - The Spanish Butcher

Located in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City, The Spanish Butcher is the latest addition to the Rusk & Rusk estate and has already garnered international acclaim. A restaurant & bar with a design inspired by the classic Manhattan restaurant scene and serving authentic, Spanish products including Galician beef, Iberico ham and sumptuous seafood. The freshest Spanish flavours meeting Midtown design combining in a flourish of hospitality excellence, slap bang in Glasgow’s city centre.

The Job

The Senior Chef De Partie is a key member of the kitchen team at The Spanish Butcher. The Senior Chef De Partie is expected to manage their station and provide the highest levels of consistency on the dishes that they are tasked with cooking. Working to a high spec, the Senior Chef De Partie will be fluent in working across various stations. Where required, the SCDP will provide support to the Senior Sous and Head Chef, as well as assist in stock takes, ordering, prep and cleaning.

The Person

The right candidate will have a minimum of two years kitchen experience working within high quality, high volume venues. The ideal SCDP should be passionate about food and enthusiastic about getting to work with the very best produce sourced from the highest standard of suppliers. A creative streak and a want to explore new ideas is essential.
