RUSK & RUSK Present: Meet The Widow at Hutchesons

WHEN: Sunday 29th October, 2017

BRIEF: The objective of the event was to present Glasgow with the most outrageous Halloween party of the year, building on the partnership between RUSK & RUSK and Veuve Cliquot. We incorporated a variety of elements to ensure we exceeded expectations.

Our guests arrived at Hutchesons on Sunday evening where our black carpet led the way to a terrifyingly exciting evening. Embracing our ‘Day of The Dead’ theme, staff and guests went all out to look stylishly spooky. Greeted by an array of ghastly zombies on their way to the City Grill, attendees enjoyed a bespoke 3 course meal in-keeping with the theme of the evening.

Our guests were welcomed by their ghoulish host and our co-founder James Rusk, and between courses were entertained by our Thriller flash mob. There was also the thrilling opportunity to meet our very own tarot reader, as our Private Dining Room was transformed for the event. In order to honour the evening, guests were treated to a ‘Day of The Dead’ procession by our Mariachi band, concluding the evening with a toast to the first lady of champagne, Widow Clicquot.

Guests partied into the rest of the night with our resident DJ Elisha playing a mix of haunted hits, disco, house and funk, where the glasses of veuve continued to flow.

WHAT WE DID: Our theming and lighting transformed Hutchesons City Grill allowing for the Veuve Clicquot brand to shine through. Rusk & Rusk managed the full event from black carpet entrance, catering, booking all entertainment as well as marketing the evening.
