ROX AW/17 Magazine Launch

WHEN: Wednesday 4th October, 2017

BRIEF: The objective of the event was to create a completely bespoke, 3-course, astrological themed menu that would compliment the products on offer at the event, and in turn building upon the partnership between Rusk & Rusk and ROX.

Celebrating the launch of their AW/17 Magazine, luxury diamond jewellers ROX hosted a glamorous dinner in the stunning 'Thrill Room,' located in their Glasgow store. To ensure the event was executed to the highest standard, Rusk & Rusk were brought in to design an utterly bespoke dining experience for their guests. Being no stranger to events, Rusk & Rusk have successfully created in-house events for the likes of Grazia, Candid Magazine and Marie Claire to name a few. However, external event support is a new addition to the Rusk & Rusk profile for 2017, and executing the menu for this event was another feather in the cap.

With an astrological theme, our chefs were given the challenge to mirror the theme with the menu, which was executed with great skill and precision. Vietnamese rolls with wild flowers, yuzu & ginger dipping sauce were up first; a gorgeous fusion of intricate flavours with bold presentation. For the main course, seasonality was king, and the chefs served up aged loin of Highland venison with celeriac espuma, girolles and cocoa game jus; Scottish provenance at its finest. No dinner is complete without dessert, and guests were treated to a chocolate delice with white chocolate nougat, black cherry sorbet and cocoa nibs in a distinct sun/moon mould.

In addition to this, Rusk & Rusk were also tasked to decorate the glorious 'Thrill Room'. Accentuating it's clean cut beauty, Rusk & Rusk provided a classic, glittering table decor of white linen and sterling silver to compliment the crystal stemware. It provided the perfect addition to the already elegant and decadent space. 

Once again, ROX delivered a stellar event programme, and throughout the evening guests heard from managing director Kyron Keogh as well as the guest editor and stylist of the issue, Lynne McCrossan who discussed some of the key pieces of the season whilst they were passed around the room for all to lust over!

WHAT WE DID: Providing a completely bespoke dining experience, Rusk & Rusk presented an astrological themed menu and decorated the space to enhance the features of the already stunning ROX brand.
