So, what can guests expect from this years’ bash? Well, here's a quick peak...

From live DJ's to glamorous showgirls, crooners and show tune specialists; this years, Killer Heels & Cocktails event is packed with vibrant, lively entertainment! Hosted by Heart FM's very own Paul Harper, guests will have antics in abundance with games and dancing being wholeheartedly encouraged. Watch out for The Jersey Tones singing classic hits from the blockbuster musical, Jersey Boys, whilst  The Brothers of Swing provide a cool, stylish throwback to the heyday of big band crooning & swooning!

In order to raise as much as possible through donations, the Killer Heels & Cocktails committee have pulled together an incredible selection of auction items including glamorous getaways to Gleneagles, luxury Highland retreats, diamond earrings and original works of art from iconic artist Gerard Burns, to name but a few! It simply wouldn't be a true Killer Heels event without an appropriately themed pair of 'Killer Heels' for the Star Prize, and this year guests can win a gorgeous pair of Christian Louboutin heels, complete with style consultation at  Cruise and finished off with a gorgeous Bubbles & Brunch at Hutchesons. And if all that wasn't enough, there's an epic list of raffle prizes to be won, the hilarious 'Be Honest!' quiz and a selection of fantastic gifts to purchase from the Guilty Pleasures stall!

Over the past 14 years, the Killer Heels & Cocktails fundraiser has raised over £700,000 for  Action Medical Research,  Louise Rusk believes that the 2017 rendition will generate a significant sum to add to that; "we have a fantastic event ahead of us, with superb auction prizes, lots of fun entertainment and plenty of opportunity to raise funds" she tells us, "it's going to be a truly glamorous affair, and I am incredibly excited to be taking the reign of my first event as Chair".
